Job Summary
Provide clerical and administrative support for the faculty, faculty department chairs, staff, and students of the School of Liberal Arts and Public Service and the School of Communication, English, and World Languages.
Essential Duties
Assist with building the academic schedule in Banner for assigned departments.
Assist with FLAC Payroll and Cognos schedule checks.
Create and submit status change forms for full-time faculty and track reassign time.
Facilitate textbook requests for courses.
Greet and direct incoming visitors, students, faculty, or staff either in person, over the phone, or electronically.
Track Jaggaer orders, travel expenditures, invoices, and room reservations.
Maintain contact list(s) for School faculty, Adjunct, and staff.
Provide administrative support for the School Deans, School Coordinator and assigned Faculty Department Chair as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent education.
Three years experience or training at the college or university level in Office Administration or
an equivalent combination of training and secretarial experience.
Excellent secretarial and administrative skills, accurate typing and data entry.
Ability to organize daily work procedures and perform duties under one's own initiative with supervisory guidance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with others.
Experience and/or training with personal computers including MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer experience with Ellucian Banner & Cognos.
