Brownstown Police Department, Wayne County. All applicants must be 21 years of age and also meet MCOLES January 2, 2017 Licensing Standards for Law Enforcement Officers (2016 PA 289). Preference will be given to certified or certifiable, currently attending an MCOLES certified police academy or have completed a minimum of 60 college credits from a North Central Accredited college or university and have successfully passed the MCOLES pre-application reading/writing and physical tests. Applicants must also have passed and scored 75 or better on the EMPCO Entry Level Law Enforcement Test prior to the application deadline date.
