Town Administrator
The Town of Blythewood is recruiting to fill the position of Town Administrator.
Our current Administrator is retiring in March. The Town is one of the fastest-growing municipalities in SC and has eleven full-time employees and an operating budget of approximately $2,500,000. The Town provides building inspections, public works, and planning and zoning services but does not have a police department or fire department nor does it provide water and sewer services. The Town operates an on-site meeting and conference center as an enterprise fund and has a popular 25 acre public park as part of the Town Hall complex. Qualifications: at least 5 years experience in municipal management at department head level or higher; MPA desired, but not required.
The anticipated salary range for the position is $65,000 to 75,000. The Town is a member of the SC retirement system and provides health insurance coverage through PEBA. The deadline for applications is November 24.
