Garrett
Garrett resides on Banner Mountain in Nevada City with his parents and two brothers. He currently attends Nevada Union where he is feeding an interest in technology through video production. After high school, Garrett would like to obtain at least one master’s degree in either computer science or electric engineering.
During vacations and days off, Garrett enjoys spear fishing in Fort Bragg (his favorite is lingcod) and free diving for abalone, mussels, and crab. He also enjoys hunting, backpacking, and just being outdoors in general. As if you aren’t already impressed, young Garrett is also a boy scout currently working to obtain the high rank of eagle scout.
What Garrett likes most about working at Suds Bros. is that the work is mostly physical, allowing him to constantly be in motion, and “everyone is nice.”
Rachael lives in Colfax with her parents and four younger siblings. She is finishing her senior year at Horizon Charter School where she is studying English, government, and physics, all while maintaining a 3.9 GPA. After high school, Rachael wants to attend college and receive at least a bachelor’s degree although she is not entirely sure in what subject—perhaps nutrition or psychology.
When Rachel has time outside of work and school, she enjoys reading (Jane Austin is one of her favorite authors); spending time with friends; and listening to music—“typical teenager things.” Like many other employees, Rachael’s favorite part of working at Suds Bros. is the people, both customers and fellow employees, and being able to spend much of her workday outside.
Ryan lives on Banner Mountain with his father, having moved to Nevada City from Santa Rosa in his early childhood years. Being a large sports enthusiast, he enjoys spending his free time playing basketball, watching sports games—namely the Kings—and being with friends. In the future, Ryan hopes to be a paramedic as he has a deep passion for helping people.
Given his background in sports, Ryan’s favorite part about working at the car wash is being active all day and spending the majority of his time outdoors.
Sabrina lives on her family’s farm in Grass Valley and is currently a student at Sierra College. Although she is maintaining an open mind, she is studying to be a physical therapist. She also aspires to travel and one day return to Africa where she participated in a mission trip during the summer of 2010. When she is not studying or working.
Sabrina enjoys riding horses, running, hiking, and crafting (making dream catchers, bracelets, and earrings.) She likes working at Suds Bros. because it is outside and enjoys the company of other employees.
