Culinary Services Manager
CULINARY SERVICES MANAGER
The Culinary Services Manager is responsible for all food services on the Stuhr Museum
campus, including food planning and preparation in the Stuhr Museum catering kitchen for daily
public sales from the Stuhr Museum Bistro. The Manager will also execute and oversee food
preparation and sales from the Silver Dollar Café in Railroad Town. The Culinary Services Manager
will be responsible for the management of part-time staff for the Bistro, kitchen help, and part-time
staff in the Silver Dollar Café. The Culinary Services Manager will work closely with the Facility
and Events Sales Coordinator to provide catering options and services for corporate rentals,
weddings, and other campus rentals. The Manager will be responsible for procuring and maintaining
raw food product to support the daily needs of a functioning full-service campus kitchen, bistro, and
café. Responsible for the hiring, training, leadership, and management of a small part-time food
service team. Works with the Director of Interpretive Resources to ensure period correct food
options are offered for sales in Railroad Town and during special events throughout the year.
