CPhT Pharmacy Technician

Come and grow with us! SVCHS has a full-time vacancy for a CPhT Pharmacy Technician, full-time, needed to work primarily out of the Saltville location but be willing to travel to the other sites. Provides pharmacy technician staffing coverage and medication delivery for our pharmacy in Bristol when needed; Assists in remote patient monitoring technology; Completes medication prior authorizations; Supports resolution of medication access issues. Must be knowledgeable in drug therapy & prescription insurance billing and be skilled at building relationships & providing excellent customer service. Need to be knowledgeable in using computers, electronic health records, & devices used in remote patient monitoring. To be considered, an applicant must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Virginia & have a minimum two year experience in a clinical setting or with medication therapy management (MTM) services.
