Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks an Engineering Support, Senior Engineer in Hopkins, SC.

Job Description: Responsible for ACE (Application Coded Equipment) Bill-of Material and product feature-based configurable routing to deliver accurate cost at time of quotation. Identify, report, and resolve ACE product configurator output issues to support costing accuracy, capacity planning and scheduling of business objectives and requirements. Provide business requirements to develop and deploy Schneider Electric quote and order solutions to deliver automated estimated cost at time of quotation for major North American Power Systems “Engineered to Order” products. Lead manual costing across ETO Project Engineering Teams for key strategic projects to ensure accurate cost at time of quotation to enable better pricing decisions from Pricing Management. This position is responsible for providing automation of costing and is not involved in directly engineering projects. Eligible for remote work up to 2.5 days per week.

Requirements: Position requires Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, or related field and progressive, post-bachelor's experience (3 years with Master’s or 5 years with Bachelor’s) in product configuration, application engineering, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in: End-to-end solution integration (AMAPS, SAP, SE Advantage, and ACE); End-to-End business process knowledge of quotation and order processes for engineered-to-order products; Use statistical tools (Excel, Tableau, MiniTab) and data analysis techniques (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive) to identify cost accuracy improvement opportunities for Engineered to Order configurable products; and Performing pricing analysis using configurator data warehouses.
