It is the intent of the Municipal Housing Agency to provide affordable, decent, safe and sanitary housing to low income families that will promote economic mobility and a suitable living environment free from discrimination. The Municipal Housing Agency was created in 1968 to serve as the public housing authority within the city limits of Council Bluffs. Municipal Housing Agency currently assists families and individuals who are disabled, near elderly, elderly or low income.
