Full and Part-time Armed Security Officers

Positions available now for Asheville, NC City Sites

Initial Rate:  Unarmed Guards $14.00 and Armed Guard $15.00, 6 sick days 10 paid holidays.

- Previous law enforcement or security preferred

- Background check and drug test required- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor 

- Actively and effectively observe and monitor the environment, with the ability to detect suspicious and unsafe activity

- In the case of an incident, efficiently and effective notify a member of the Senior Management Team

- Situational awareness and ability to react quickly and professionally to split-second issues that might arise

- Know the client facility, policies and procedures of the position and enforce them within the limits of the position

- Follow established emergency action planning and procedures

- Ability to calmly diffuse situations that may arise

- Other duties as needed

- Maintain personal appearance 

- Manage breaks and lunches based on the needs of the business

- Ability to pass background check consistently with Federal and State Standards in-line with carrying a concealed weapon - Ability to pass randomized quarterly drug tests consistent with Federal and State Standards in-line with carrying a concealed weapon

Minimum Requirements

- At least 21 years of age with valid proof

- Current and Active Driver’s License

- Private Investigator Licensing Board Armed Guard Card
