Job purpose
Energetic, personable, skillful drivers needed to transport student passengers to and from school on weekdays and golf tournaments on weekends. Schedules subject to change.
Full Time / Part-Time / Relief Driver
Duties and Responsibilities
Coach driver is responsible for:
- Check the bus tires, lights, and oil and do other basic maintenance
- Keep the bus clean and presentable to the public
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations
- Follow a planned route according to a time schedule
- Help disabled passengers get on and off the bus
- Obey traffic laws and state and federal transit regulations
- Follow procedures to make sure they and all passengers are safe
- Keep passengers informed of possible delays
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalency.
- Ability to communicate fluently in the English language.
- Must be 21 years old or older.
- Ability to legally work in the United States.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License with a Class A or B CDL, Passenger Endorsement, with a minimum 3 years driving history.
- Must possess negative drug or alcohol tests from previous employers.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must pass other pre-employment tests.
- Must pass all Safety & Training Programs.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Prior passenger experience required.
Working conditions
Motor coach drivers travel with their student passengers. Driver hours are dictated by school and tour schedules, and drivers may work all hours of the day/night, as well as weekends and holidays. May have long-distance routes and spend some nights away.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $18.00 /hour
