Building Maintenance Technician
High Associates is currently looking for an experienced Building Maintenance Technician to join our team.
The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the completion of technical building maintenance and emergency repairs operations as required by service requests submitted by all appropriate tenants and/or owners. Candidates must have working knowledge of all parts and inventory used in the day-to-day operation of properties in order to requisition supplies.
Job functions will include:
- Act promptly in the event of a circumstance that requires attention.
- Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
- Service the pool.
- Report or trouble shoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical and or electrical systems.
- Maintain and complete all maintenance logs accurately.
- Maintain inventory records.
- Perform routine maintenance such as painting, carpet and/or floor cleaning, and caulking.
- Perform minor adjustments on HVAC systems.
- Perform minimal maintenance on exterior grounds during summer and winter months.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three to five years of directly related experience.
- Must display very good organization and time management skills
- Must have basic working knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC and electrical work.
- Broad Knowledge of appliance repair.
- Willing to obtain any locally required certification as needed.
- Adhere to brand and company standards.
- Valid Driver’s License.
