Maintenance Director
A large Non-Profit organization in the Columbia area, is seeking a Maintenance Director.
RELATIONSHIP IN CORPORATE HIERARCHY:
- Reports to Assistant Executive Director (If Assistant Executive Director position is vacant, then reports directly to Executive Director)
- Positions reporting to Maintenance Director
a. Grounds Maintenance Supervisor
b. Facility Maintenance Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Director is responsible for scheduling, planning, and overseeing the overall maintenance of grounds and facilities within the entire Association. Responsibilities include communicating regularly and effectively with executive management, fellow director, staff, and residents in order to address issues promptly. Additional responsibilities include managing supplies & inventory, arranging for training sessions, and coordination a response for maintenance emergencies. Maintenance Director will also arrange for traffic control during community events and facilitate training sessions for maintenance employees in order to eliminate possible hazards or minimize work-site injuries.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering or related field.
- EXPERIENCE: Previous supervisory experience over 5+ employees.
