Optometric Assistant
We have an immediate full-time opening for an Optometric Assistant. Optometric Assistants assist the doctor by performing general patient work ups along with documentation in the patient medical record. The assistant also performs history taking, visual acuity testing and other testing.
Candidates must be a high school graduate. Medical assisting or optometric/ophthalmic assisting is required. It is imperative this individual is able to work cohesively with the optometrist requiring minimal supervision. Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, have strong computer skills and good attention to detail.
