Groundskeeper: Irrigation Workers
30 Temp Full Time Groundskeeper: Irrigation Workers.
Worksites: Provided daily transport to & from worksite; begin Waltham, Middlesex County, MA 02451 @ $17.46/hour.
Continue into MA counties: Middlesex (Waltham, Concord, & Newton) Plymouth (Scituate) of Boston-Cambridge-Newton, MA NECTA Division area. 04/01/19-12/15/19.
Possible duties:
Install irrigation & drainage systems.
Maintain systems: winterize & spring start-up, adjust amount of water consumption & prevent waste. Spread straw to hold soil in place.
Dig: use hand tools/shovels.
Irrigate lawns, trees, plants & other related Groundskeeper act. per SOC/OES 37-3011 (onetonline.org).
Excessive mud & standing water.
Must be 18 due to insurance.
Must show proof of legal authority to work in US. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free wrk zone.
Perform physical activities: such move, manipulate materials; use static strength to exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 50lbs. No minimum education requirement. OJT.
All applicants must be willing, qualified, to perform work described & availability for entire period specified. $17.46/hour up to possible $18.50/hour OT $26.19/hour up to possible $27.75/hour Wage may vary depending on experience. Possible daily/weekly hours: 7am-5:30pm 40+ (plus) to include lunch break Monday-Friday. Possible weeknd/holiday work. Outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat/cold. Variable weather conditions; hours may fluctuate (+/-), possible downtime and/or OT. OT available, not required. Employer will comply w/all applicable federal, state & local laws pertaining to OT hrs.
Transportation: Will provide/pay cost of worker return transport, subsistence from worksite to place from which worker departed to work for employer if worker completes period of employment or dismissed from employment before end of work period above. Transportation & subsistence will be reimbursed (by check 1st work week) for cost from place the worker has come to work for employer, whether in US or abroad, to place of employment. Guaranteed offered work hours @ least 3/4s of workdays each 12/week period of total employment. Use/maintain of employer provided tools/equipment/supplies at no cost/deposit.
