Work site(s): Begin; White Plains, Greene County, GA 30678 at $11.50 per hour. Provided daily transport to/from worksite. Cont into States of GA, SC. 11/21/18-4/15/19.
Possible Duties: Plant seedling trees to reforest timberlands. Machine operate planting. Seedlings are planted per specifications of landowner & other related Forestry Worker activities per SOC/OES 45-4011 (onetonline.org). Must be 18 due to travel. Must show proof of legal authority to work in U.S. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone. Must walk substantially up to 15 miles/day, stoop, bend while carrying a pack (up to 50 lbs) thru rough terrain (non-trail). No minimum education requirement. On the Job Training. All applicants must be willing, qualified, to perform work described & available for entire period specified. $10.25 per hour up to poss $15.00 per hour Overtime $15.38 per hour up to poss $22.50 per hour, Wage may vary. Depends on experience.
Possible daily/weekly hours: 8 am-5 pm. 40 plus to include lunch break Monday-Friday. Possible weekend/holiday work. (Overtime poss, not required/guaranteed. If Overtime is worked, wage paid at rate of time & a half per hour worked beyond 40 hours/week.) Outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasion in extreme heat/cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hours may fluctuate (+/-), poss downtime &/or Overtime. Overtime available, not required. Employer will comply w/all applicable fed, state & local laws pertaining to Overtime hours. H&W benefits may apply. Will provide/pay cost of worker return transport, subsistence from worksite to place from which worker departed to work for employer if worker completes period of employment or dismissed from employment before end of work period above. Transportation/subsistence will be provided for cost from place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in US/abroad, to place of employment. Guaranteed offered work hours at least 3/4s of workdays each 12/wk period of total employment period. Use/maintain of employer provided tools/equipment/supplies at no cost/deposit.
