Job Summary:
Seeking applicants for Extension Agent position to be housed in the Marion County Extension Office. The candidate that is chosen to fill this position will serve as a member of the statewide 4-H and youth development program team and will be responsible for related duties in Marion county. Candidates should be willing to work flexible schedules.
Job Duties:
50% - Essential - Program Management, Development & Delivery: Grow and maintain a strong 4-H program in Marion County. Cooperate with other staff members to prepare an annual plan of work in 4-H Youth Development discipline and to implement a county Extension education program.
40% - Essential - Outreach: Teach both adults and youth through personal visitation, group meetings, tours, demonstrations, mass media, and volunteer leader training.
10% - Essential - Special Projects: Manages and monitors compliance with Civil Rights requirements, CUMIS, special projects and other initiatives as designated by Extension Field Operations.
Minimum Requirements:
Education - Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Requirements:
Education - Master's Degree
