Groundskeeper, St. Leonard - Exception New Hourly Rates!
Job Description
The Groundskeeper is required to perform all tasks required to maintain the grounds, gardens, walks, and roads in a safe, appealing condition. All Grounds staff is on-call for snow and ice removal in the winter.
Essential Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities
- Operates all equipment necessary to mow, trim, prune, plant, and spray grass, trees and shrubbery.
- Maintains all roads, walks, and outdoor lighting in safe working condition and free of hazards.
- Performs routine maintenance and repairs on all equipment and vehicles, along completing with appropriate documentation.
- Performs a variety of tasks assigned by work orders that relate to the grounds and landscape.
- Takes part in a variety of inside maintenance tasks and projects.
- Satisfies all educational in-service requirements mandated by CHI Living Communities, the department, external accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
In addition to the essential job specific duties listed above, the Groundskeeper shall be required to perform all duties (essential and non-essential) in a manner consistent with the mission and values (compassion, excellence, inclusion, integrity, collaboration) of CHI Living Communities and will be evaluated on such basis. Furthermore, every employee must abide by all campus, departmental, and safety policies, rules, and regulations.
