Activity Supervisor Assistant - The Gardens at St. Elizabeth
Assists the Activity Supervisor in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Activity Department. CDL license preferred but not required. Demonstrates workplace effectiveness to assure communication of Centura Health's mission and core values.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1: Assists with the daily maintenance of the department to maintain a safe and clean environment.
2: Orders and maintains proper supplies for planned activities.
3: Completes all assessments and programming documentation within specific time-frames, as directed by the Activities Supervisor.
4: Assists with transportation for resident outings, as directed.
5: Maintains a professional manner when dealing with residents, families and other staff.
6: Maintains and updates monthly calendars. Monitors daily activities and assists with implementing programs to meet the residents' individual care plan needs.
7: Follows OSHA guidelines and facility safety programs to ensure a safe environment.
8: Responsible for the proper care of all property, equipment, supplies and financial assets involved in the performance of the job.
9: Additional duties may be outlined by facility. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
