Looking for an experienced Office Manager in a fast-paced Harley-Davidson dealership in the Greenville area where we engage in purchasing and selling motorcycles, parts, service, and clothing/merchandise. The position is full-time, must be well organized and detail-oriented. The Office Manager is responsible for managing the financial operations and human resources function of the dealership in accordance with company policies and procedures.
*Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate financial reports and statements on a timely basis
- Perform required daily accounting processes
- Complete the financial monthly close of the store in a timely manner
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Maintain the general ledger and scheduled accounts, keeping subledgers in balance with the GL
- Reconcile End of Day and all balance sheet accounts, record any and all adjustments in the appropriate reporting period
- Supervise the control of the petty cash accounts
- Supervise and review the reconciliation of the Fixed Asset System to the general ledger account
- Provide for a system of management cost reports
- Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to GM
- Payroll Processing
- Bank reconciliation and deposit administration
- Managing A/P and A/R accounts
- Health benefits organization
- Managing office systems and supplies
- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
*Qualifications
- Experience working in the business office of a multi-line powersports or automotive dealership with experience as the controller preferred.
- Prior experience working with dealership software systems (e.g. Reynolds & Reynolds, Lightspeed) preferred
- Working knowledge of personal computing software including Microsoft Office
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data, reports, and procedures
- Knowledge of Ohio title processes
